Hi all, I have almost finished building my new garage and will have a nice South facing wall to grow against. My question is: will any variety of apple and pear be suitable to grow as cordons on this wall all do I need to choose carefully? I was hoping to cut costs by buying the Lidl or Aldi fruit trees in the spring...Advise greatly appreciated :-)

Just make sure the variety and root stock are not vigorous and the variety is spur-bearing.
