Spuds - Mould
« on: February 24, 2008, 19:45 »
Hi Folks

I ordered my spuds from Organic Gardening Catalogue, they arrived a while ok, I checked them, and all looked fine.

I put them (Still in the box) in my shed, which is wind and watertight,

I took them out to start chitting them today, and noticed some of them, have what seems like a patch of blue mould on them .

Is this normal? Or am I in for a bad season before I start??

Thanks

There should not be any mould on them, blue at that.

Is it all of them? Could you post a photo? :?

Not all of them, but most of them it would seem. Some a small spot, others more then that.

I have them up on the plot in the shed chitting, so I will have to wait till tomorrow to get a picture of them.
