We do like posts to be typed to tell us how you are getting on also put some photos in where relevant, we love pictures but often don't have time for videos.

Just had a look at your video, a nice sized plot there. If you take the wobbly shed down, looks like you could make a couple of compost bins with the wood, Google or search on here 3 bay compost bins, a lot less work I find than the black darlek bins  or you could make more bays but smaller & just keep turning the waste from one bin to the next until you end up with lovely rich compost. Just don't have them too high, mine are a tad too tall for me but then again I'm a shorty

There's little simple about an allotment but they are good stress busters an good excersize

How exciting.

Nice to have a blank canvas. Before you do too much I would check out No Dig Gardening. Digging soil is one of the worst things you can do and it is much better to mimic what nature does and just add organic matter to the surface each year.

Good luck with it all. i will follow your progress. Are you writing a blog as well as the videos?
