Not sure if I am allowed to post a video from my latest blog or note - it's on YouTube?  If I am, then please see below.

If not, sorry about that Moderators - please delete if need be.

Just had a look at your video, a nice sized plot there. If you take the wobbly shed down, looks like you could make a couple of compost bins with the wood, Google or search on here 3 bay compost bins, a lot less work I find than the black darlek bins  or you could make more bays but smaller & just keep turning the waste from one bin to the next until you end up with lovely rich compost. Just don't have them too high, mine are a tad too tall for me but then again I'm a shorty

Nice lawn you've got there :) I'm sure you'll have it dug over for spring

There's little simple about an allotment but they are good stress busters an good excersize :)

Interesting video there, G_A. Thanks for sharing it. Simplifying things is the way forward in life where at all possible fer shore  imho ;)

Just thought I should mention for future information that the wooden lady is usually referred to by her full name of Aunt Sally out of deference to her greatly advancing years -- but don't tell her I told you that last bit or I shall be on the Norty Step all night

How exciting.

Nice to have a blank canvas. Before you do too much I would check out No Dig Gardening. Digging soil is one of the worst things you can do and it is much better to mimic what nature does and just add organic matter to the surface each year.

Good luck with it all. i will follow your progress. Are you writing a blog as well as the videos?
