Bolting is exactly what they are up to.... too warm I expect and rather too much moisture.

I think there are other varieties that will do better in mid summer - I am using a lettuce seed mix but again they are likely to bolt if not harvested promptly... They need keeping an eye on.

KT - where are you - a location in your profile would help.

My Little Gem are brilliant, but I'm further north than Learner - it can make a lot of difference.

Now that is very true....... The sunny (?) south is usually that bit warmer and that's not always quite as helpful as you think.
