Does anyone have any ideas how to stop the egg white from sticking to the shell on fresh eggs when you boil the egg for a sandwich as it does seem a shame to waste it as the girls work to hard make it in the first place ;)

You need to leave the egg for at least a week before boiling, and having a perfect peel off of shell...think the membrane comes away from the shell, although the experts will know more re this.

Should be at least a week old. Also I roll the egg on a surface with my palm to crack the shell all round and then it peels off easy peasy! That trick also works for fiddly quails eggs too.

Yep new eggs wont break properly, but you don't need the fridge.

The jury seems out, but you know supermarkets don't keep eggs in the fridge.

I never put mine in a fridge but you do need to keep them cool and away from strong odours.
