ok...this is a bit of a daft one, but it is something that I would love to know the answer to, if there is one....

why is it that......

you can boil some eggs, and they will peel absolutely no problem at all....and then you can peel another one....and you lose half your egg stuck to the shell??????

fresh eggs are always a nightmare to peel

basically if your egg peels well it's a cople of days old

thats what i thought...until tonight.... todays eggs, boiled etc...one peeled one didnt.... must be a fluke eh...lol :wink:

Fresh eggs hard to peel, which is why you don't usually have a problem unless they are your own. Shop ones rarely fresh enough :lol:

fine with me...got swimming lessons in the morning with my eldest...( ripe old age of 4!) so that gives us time to get home and have some lunch etc...prob best to meet you down at the gardens...will get the pan of water boiling...lol.. we not posh... :lol:   :lol:  :lol:

I can't wait to get my chooks.Our local supermarket keeps running out of free range eggs lately,leaving people who need eggs to have to buy eggs from caged hens.I had to do this when my son needed eggs at the last minute for his cookery lessons.I felt sooo guilty.I think they should be banned.At least when I start selling eggs down our road I know plenty of people will buy them,& that supermarket won't profit either!! :evil: We live down the road from the supermarket too...prime location! :lol:
