I'd like to know which pea's are the best for freezing. I'd like to try and store some as I've never had the space to grow many before. I do have a packet of Alderman, any good?

I freeze Alderman peas, if there is any left by the time I get home from the plot 

As far as I know you can freeze any variety of peas

If it's called a pea, I freeze it. Just don't let them get too old in the pod or they're tough no matter how you freeze or cook them.

That's good news! I expect we will eat most of them straight from the pod but I'd like to save a bit of summer if I can.
