I've just been to collect eggs and noticed 1 of my blackrock chicks lay on her side at the bottom of the ladder, she was fine this morning but now doesnt seem to be able to stand.
I've made her a box up indoors and given her water, She doesnt seem interested in food.
As she was at the bottom of the ladder im wondering if she has fallen somehow! Apart from the vet (cant get there right now, twins sleeping and im here alone with the 3 littleones) is there anything else i can do?

check her legs and wings to feel if they are warm, she could have broken them.

Just checked, Her right leg feels very warm, She is keeping  it tucked up close to her body too.

Checked her again before the school run, She was still on her side. Just checked her again and she's passed away
