bald patch
« on: November 17, 2007, 14:01 »
Just went to put some vaseline on my girls' combs for the cold weather and noticed that one of them has a bald patch on her breast. She seems fine otherwise, still laying, although I have noticed her sniffing a bit. What could have caused the feather loss? Should I do anything or just leave it?

Don't think either - she's certainly not broody and she had a sort of 'mini moult' at the end of the summer  :?
