look forward to it - mine are long john f1. First time me growing chilis.

I've saved some scotch bonnet seeds, they're about 3 days out of the fruit and have dried nicely. Do you reckon these would need a cold shock to wake them up?

id definatly get em ind0ors they are ages of flowering ... they need heat mushy  

I started em off in August... I'm expecting them to be dormant indoors due to the lack of light - is this realistic?

That's some pioneering! I wanted to do a plant or two for keeping indoors, but lousy cook never got round sowing them. One thing is certain, they are hot pot flowers and my granny used to have them in the kitchen window all the time(as much as I remember) and then hot kitchen at that. Will stop growing and flowering, I think.

I think we'll have some nice weather in 1st week of October according to LRF, so will keep em out until then, hopefully will doge the first ground frosts (mid Oct). Last subfreezing grass minimum in October was 19th in 2002 and 28th in 2003, they've been in November since then
