I'd only be inclined to use it on something that needed it. (well, I wouldn't use it at all but that's beside the point.)

What are you growing in, hydroponics, containers or open ground? Phostrogen is probably very good for hydroponic/container growers but, as it's a high potash feed, it would be more suitable for fruit/flower production rather than root crops.

To reiterate, do your plants need it?

Well i assume it would be a good feed for the potatoes,

None of my crop looks as if it needs any help - it all looks rather good (besides the cucumbers which have finally decided on death)

Is this stuff ok for potatoes?

Is there something wrong with Phostrogen as I use it sometimes?

Nothing wrong with Phostrogen - its formula has changed over the years so the name is a bit misleading because as Solway Cropper said, it's quite high in potassium (K) these days, which probably makes it better for flowers and flowering crops than leafy ones (NPK analysis 4.5-3.5-9 plus micronutrients according to the Bayer website.)

Miracle Grow has relatively more nitrogen (24-8-16) but either is OK as a quick-fix booster for plants which seem to be struggling, although if you were fussy I suppose you'd have both on hand (I don't, but then I don't rely entirely on liquid feeds.)

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
