Lemon tree
« on: November 03, 2015, 08:31 »
Help please, our lemon tree has been brought into the conservatory for the winter but it is shedding all of its leaves. There are a few small fruits on it but very few leaves left. Watering with rain water to keep it just damp, watering from below. It might be root bound but general advice seems to be not to re-pot until the spring. Any help would be good.

Ours has lost all its leaves but has 3 lemons on that are still growing. The biggest one is almost completely yellow and 'normal' lemon sized.

I'm not an expert, but.   I understand it's - not too wet in the winter, let them dry out between waterings.  This has worked well with my citrus.

I believe they can loose a lot of leaves , but will be still be fine.  Sounds like you have watered well, so I would leave it to dry out now.
