I've ordered 'Lady Christl' after loads of people here rave about them.
I've also got my usual 'Belle de Fontenay' and a heritage tato called 'Ratte' coming - the Heligan book raves about 'Ratte' potatoes.  :)

I put in 30 Epicure in the tunnel as my first earlies. Epicure recover from a touch of frost better than other varieties I have tried .
I'll plant them out in the tunnel in Feb. with a 30g fleece cover.

Then 30 Charlotte and 30 Nicola as second earlies outside in March with the same fleece. Tasty and also a recognised name that sells well at the local country market.

grew maris piper and king edward last year and quite a lot of slug damage. Plot neighbour grew kestrel and gave me some to try. Really tasty so growing them this year with maybe lady christi? bit less space this year so being selective  :)

You can really go wrong with those two - it's Lady Christl, by the way!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
