You could plant them in to a large tub & put a wigwam of canes for them to climb up,then keep them in the greenhouse until warm enough to put out for an early crop. Sow some more as previously suggested as a back up & to stagger cropping, worth a try in my book.

I really empathise with Ally.
I am such a clutz and always sow far too early, although I am trying really hard this year as the weather is so rubbish but I went ahead and sowed a few French beans in a propagator to see what would happen. What was I thinking?? What happened, as you would expect, is that they germinated and now I have dwarf french beans about 4" tall with nowhere to go. Fortunately I have some more seeds and I have promised myself that I WILL NOT SOW ANYMORE UNTIL NEXT MONTH but it is so hard to resist.
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

I know what you mean, when I was new to this growing malarky in a 2 bed tiny terrace house & no window ledges I sowed far to early & nearly went mad moving stuff here & there. This year I've gone totally the opposite & still not sown anything,I'll probably be posting in the autumn that nothing is ripe & ready to harvest  Win some lose some.
