  thank you for reminding me - I bought some Wiener Runder Kohlschwarzer seeds earlier this year to try out as I've never eaten or grown them before, and I just thought I'd better check the sowing guide - ideally they should be sown anytime in July, with an extended sowing into August for presumably those who live in warmer regions.

I see no reason why you can't do multiple sowings

Sounds like they could be nice roasted or in soup? Mine are black Spanish the size of a tnis ball.
