According to some of the forecasting sites, weather starts a downward trend from the weekend - with the jet stream slipping south of us, so colder weather set for a return for about a week 

I just knew we'd have to pay for those few days of summery weather 

Think I'll keep doing the in/out dance with the tender stuff for a while yet .........

My son wanted to put his Venus Fly Trap out overnight.

I've just planted my peas today, with fingers crossed!

The peas should be fine, they're quite hardy  Most of mine are out as well

My peas are out too. They are easier in cold weather than hot I find

I was going to try starting them in guttering this year as seems to be the trend, but I got dizzy halfway up the ladder.

I was really hoping that the in out dance was coming to an end.  My font bedroom and dining and windowsills look like Kew gardens.

I am really going to start the tomatoes much later next year.

I planted some poblanos and jalapeños yesterday and had to cover them last night. Tomato, cucumber, kidney beans, peanuts, bell peppers have all been moved back into the cold frame. 70s during the day, high 30s at night. 😮. Peas are snug in their beds lol.

I heard the weather is getting wetter and colder. Looks like a delay on sowing, and the fiddlers elbow with the plants already sown.
