another tomato blight question

Should you throw away the canes you used to stake tomatoes which went on to succumb to blight? Or can you re use them next year, on tomatoes? (not that I'm obsessed with tomaoes or anything)

They'll be fine.  Just leave them out in the frost for a while over winter.  The sun, light and cold will kill any spores on them very quickly.
