This is the BNS I grew ,The largest was over 16lbs ,still green though.
Will they be ok stored in one of the bedrooms ?

I keep mine in the back bedroom (unheated) and they last for months  :D

Mine are still sitting in a wheel-barrow in the allotment shed.....soon to be transported home and disappear under the stairs where it's cool and dark.

Have you opened one upto make sure its BNS before you store.

If it has cross pollinated with courgette/marrow it may not keep.  I'd be tempted to open one up to ensure the fleshis nice and firm and yellow. You can make soup so its not wasted.

The OP sowed Hunter F1.

That's the fruit he'll get, unless he got sold the wrong seed. Only the seeds will be affected by cross-pollintion, as I said in the second post!

I do just the opposite putting them on wire racks in the pvc roofed porch which is often warm but has plenty of air circulation.
Mine keep till May* in the winter sunshine !

* not this year as i only have two squashes !

:D me too (well, not the porch but on racking near south facing windows in an unheated room)  Even the courgettes (ok, more like baby marrow size) keep until mid-winter.
