ive grown juno pea before, but never wizzard bean - infact ive never heard of it.

But regarding juno's - its a very prolific pea, the pods are long, and hold around 10 peas, infact juno's is sometimes used as a show pea.

I picked up juno seeds last year from wilko's for around a quid a pack. - infact ive still got a few seeds left that i meant to sow this year, but never got round to it, but i will definately use them next year!!!

hang on ive just done a little research into the wizard beans  - and it would seem they are a smaller more robust relative of broadbeans, here a link to realseeds who stock them and give more info on them;

yes that's where I was going to get them from, just wondered if any one had personal experience of them. I do love real seeds but I've never grow broad or field beand before.

Hi, have been reading the forum for a couple of years but have now registered so I can tell you what I think of Realseeds Wizzard beans which I have grown this year.

Very heavy crops from all 4 sowings. (We like our beans and always freeze lots)
Covered in flowers which the bees loved. A lot of the pods on the more traditional beans have been empty this year.
Very little problem with chocolate spot despite growing at very close spacing and next to other broadies which suffered quite badly.
We have been eating them steamed in a mix with small carrots and peas. Delicious! Only need 2/3 mins.
Have also eaten them on their own and raw - usually on the plot! OH and I both agree that the taste is as good or better than larger beans.
So far have picked and eaten/frozen while small.
I left a few pods on the plants from the first lot to mature for seed saving. I tried one today to see what they were like and was pleased to find they are still not tough. The last sowing is still flowering so will pick these at a bigger size.
I will only be growing these next year and will try some October sown but our site is very exposed.
