Harvested a mini cob actually was expecting a mini one like the shops (pointy at one end) but it was actually about 6" long half an inch thick and delicious just eaten raw looking forward to the rest when they are ready (shame its only me that likes them  :tongue2:)
some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

I've had some already and will harvest more tomorrow. :D They taste, like most of your own produce, so much better than shop bought.

It's a strange thought to harvest something incomplete in the growth cycle!!

my sweetcorn aren't meant to be mini's but they never grew higher than 3ft tall. Yet I have two cobs growing on each. So fingers crossed they will be ok.

I mulched mine with comfrey in mid-July when they were rather small and they are now 6ft.

However, I'm not convinced it has increased the number of cobs on the plant (2-3).

It wouldn't have thought it would give extra cobs... just a better or heavier yield..

I decided not to risk them being pollinated and cut off the male tassels.

Worked a treat and have harvested several now - delicious  :D

I think a few tiny sweet pop corn cobs might be good... I'll leave some to grow on and try...
