Does anyone else make up composts for growing in  I have found that its hard to get water retention in the compost is there any solution ? I have thought that next year I will add lawn moss to it ?

Thats interesting my compost seems to hold water well, but when i use it in big pots, i put a thick layer of compost at the bottom of the pot, then a thick layer of shredded paper, the fill the pot up to the brim with some more compost.
