Do you know the variety? Noting that you are also in Scotland, I'm just thinking you might get away with some for Christmas if they are an early variety and you can plant in containers and move indoors or protect otherwise.

I probably wouldn't bother though.

Keep them somewhere cool and dark if you can and they may be OK for next year.
