Noisy boys looking for new homes
Thank you all for your suggestions and help with getting the photos on-I'm learning!

If anyone can tell me whether these are recognised breeds, I'd love to know.  They were hatched by my son's class back in june and of course he wanted to keep them.  At the time I thought at least 2 of them were bound to be hens-perfect addition to our family.  As you see they grew into fine young men...who now wake the neighbourhood by crowing at the top of their voices from 4am onwards-thought they'd keep quiet until it got light  :?

Seriously, I must rehome them as I am too fond of them to eat them-sorry Muntjac, but I am that feeble!  But they are lovely and quite cuddly too.

First pic is a Cuckoo Maran, I think.
In fact, I hatched two back in Jun and they have just gone to a new home this morning! I was convinced I had one of each, but then saw them both stood side by side crowing their heads off, so appearances can be deceptive
Thought they would be for the freezer, but then OH chatted to a bloke at work who said he had too many hens and needed another cockerel.  OH is a bogoff king, so his new best friend got both - for free!
Still waiting and hoping that the araucuna is a hen, but I'm not very optimistic ..... :?

Thanks for confirming that, Milliebecks-Plumpo (my son named him) was the only one I thought I'd got right.  The other two don't really match any of the pictures I've seen.  He has been the most docile of the 3 and I am sooo disappointed that he's male.   :(

good luck with your araucuna
