Sorry about all these questions, hope you don't mind. As always any help will be much appreciated :) My lawn is covered in the stuff  Is there anything i can use to kill it but not the lawn.

Thankyou again :)

Glyphosphate is about the only thing that kills bindweed. Even then you must stay on top of it for a few years. There is a stick form available now that you 'paste' onto the troublesome stems and the chemicals will carry back to the roots. This way you're not spraying the whole lawn. My favourite trick is to pull off most of the bindweed's top runners and leave a short leafy stump behind which I'll either spray or use that stick form. This way nothing else is touched by the stick/spray and the chemical goes straight to the roots.

Gosh - surprised that it has survived regular mowing. My mare's tail has eventually succumbed to it, though has spread in other places - don't go there! Twp ways to do it - mow regularly - at least once a week (weather permitting) or let the lawn grow a bit and spot your weedkiller on it.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I am with Trill, on this one.

You also have my sympathy. In our house we call it by its old name of 'Devil's Guts' among other things :D

Why not just mow it regularly.  It won't survive that.

As it is a broad-leafed plant, I would imagine a lawn weed killer would do the trick if you can't mow very regularly (and who can with all this rain)!
