... what a few days of rain will do.

My allotment was beginning to look a little sad and most things were slowing up on the production side, but a couple of weeks of warm weather with plenty of rain have perked things right back up.

The runner beans are doing well, my pumkins have started sprouting and setting more fruits.  The strawberries are having another go for fruit.  The rocket I planted weeks and weeks ago is looking good and no too raddled with flea beetle.  The broccoli is catching it's second wind ... and even the courgettes have gone back into overdrive (*!!).

I agree – last weekend I was shelling the dried pea pods to save the seeds for next year, when I noticed that all the peas in one pod were actually sprouting, I know its late but I thought that if they were that determined to grow who am I to deny them, so I have sown them to see what happens - you never know, Peas for Christmas.
