Gherkin plant size help

they trail - or climb with a little encouragement 

I have six small plants at the second true leaf stage. Three are gherkins and three marketmore cucumbers. I forgot to label them and cannot see any differences. Presumably they both have the same requirements and growth habit and I can treat them the same?

Not sure from the post whether these are outdoor or greenhouse grown.  Just that I've never had that much success from training gherkin/cornichon upwards when grown outside so just let them sprawl....

But then I don't water, feed, dig... either, so that might be the reason....  Still get shedloads though...
