chillies not fruiting?

My husband decided to grow some stuff and is growing chillies from seed.  The plants are all doing great but his Demon Reds are flowering like crazy but dont produce anything?

Are you supposed to nip them like toms?  I noticed this is the only kind of chillies that has a flower in the fork..

When I grow chilies inside with no pollinater I have been known to tickle the flowers with a feather. Always had good results. I don't know your type, but I've never pinched out to aid fruitung, only with young plants to stop growing too big and promote a nice bushy shape to encourage more flowers.

It's not being overwatered or needing repotted is it?
