I do not really mind slugs too much but they keep eating unripe strawberries.  Anyway to get them to leave them alone ?

Their nibbles on other plants does not seem to do them any harm so I do not mind.

I have found that every single one of my autumn strabs have been nibbled or completely eaten byy slugs but that the summer ones weren't, despite the rain, so I am not collecting runners from the autumn ones and only planting on the summer ones for next eyar and beyond!

I find that if I grow them in a box/pot etc they are fine if I keep an eye for slugs/snails but if they are in the ground then I have a problem any time of year.
