At what point are newly formed apples, plums and cherries no longer in danger of frost damage?  Last year all three were wiped out by frost when the fruits were very small but clearly formed. I had wrongly supposed that once the fruits were set they would be ok.

i think some varieties are more resistant than others.i found this book very good and it has a list of resistant and susceptible varities in the back.
