Savoy Cabbage
« on: April 24, 2012, 22:05 »
I'm intending to grow Savoy Cabbage to crop over winter, when would I need to start them and how?

Being cautious after previous brassica experience.  :(

I suppose when you sow depends on the variety. There are one or two savoy varieties about  :)

Sown mine about June last year and they ended up OK but the heads were a bit small.

Sown this years ones last weekend.  Hopefully give them a bit longer in the ground.
