I tend to use the MetOffice website because I think they get it right more often than Accuweather do, though I think with any of them the further ahead you look the less likely it is to be accurate. The longer term forecasts very often completely change before we ever get to them. And at least now that the overnight temps are starting to creep up, I can get more stuff into my polytunnel where they can grow on a bit without getting drowned.

The carmen I had were very nice - but 3 fruit from an entire packet of seeds was a little disappointing. The year before I tried the miniature white cucumbers from you know who... they were not good and more importantly had rather nasty spines !

I cant grow cucumbers in the greenhouse, they just get red spider mite and die.  :(

Last year I found the only way to keep them alive was to stick them in a sealed glass cabinet with a bucket of water and the door closed. Temperatures were well into the 40's most of the time and the plants were dripping wet - but seem to like it !

I've got a mini greenhouse setup inside the main greenhouse this year.

Trying telepathy F1. Up to now, I reckon they should have named them "Lemming".

I've been using pyralis with good results the last couple of years - albeit in a polytunnel - good cropping, very tasty and described as 'burpless' and although YMMV I haven't had one repeat on me
