Hi all, I took cuttings of gooseberry and blackcurrant about October last year and planted them into a growbag. The vast majority has now opened their leaves. When do I open up the growbag to replant/repot them?

About anytime now I would have thought, I know I would be planting them out at this stage, keep them moist but not wet, dappled shade, could even have an intermediate stage in containers before final planting.

I potted on my black/red/white/rose currant cuttings last month. I originally had about 20 in a 9 inch pot. When I turned them out I was amazed how advanced the root system was.
Some I put in their own 9 inch pot and the less developed I put 3 to a 9 inch pot. I aim to put them in the ground in October.

Anyone know how I tell them aparts, I've been told they smell different if you scratch the stems (but is this an early april fool?). Sorry if this is hijacking!!!
