Hi, I've got two blueberries that I need to re-pot into larger pots. I know about the special compost- can't remember how to spell it . Is it a simple case of giving it a good water so that they fall out and spreading the roots about a bit or is it not such a good idea to move now as beginning to bud?

Ericaceous is the word (and compost) you are looking for (I've been practising!) 

Ideally they should have been re-potted whilst fully dormant but if they are pot-bound now the risk is probably worth it as they won't be enjoying life much.

Water well before the move, and try to disturb the root ball as little as possible, although if severely pot-bound you could try teasing out a few of the outside roots so they don't continue growing round in circles.

Add new compost underneath and round the sides, plant to the same depth as it was before, and keep well watered - with any luck they will barely notice!
