I was just wondering if anyone had tried this before...

I have a pack of red cabbage sprouting seeds (from unwins) and am thinking of seeing if I grow a full cabbage from them instead of just eating the small sprouts.  I've done this before with fenugreek sprouting seeds (ended up with lots fresh fenugreek (called methi leaves in asian supermarkets) to make curry with, yum!) but not with anything else  - has anyone tried this before and what was the outcome??

Not tried it myself, but from what I understand about sprouting seeds, this can be done. You likely won't know any specific variety, but as long as that doesn't matter, then you'll have loads of red cabbages.
