OK, how long does take for a bird that is not eating or drinking to die?

Our poorly pekin rallied slightly last thursday after it's trip to the vets but we've not seen it eat or drink since then and it has been in an unresponsive "coma" since Friday night. It's still breathing but no other signs of life.

It doesn't seem to be suffering, (not sure how I'd tell though to be honest) so I'm letting it drift away peacefully however it's still with us and I don't really know what to do next.

either go back to the vets or do the deed - sorry if this sounds nasty but you cant let it starve to death or die through dehydration  .
