Hi

Garden Organic at Ryton near Coventry is running a Potato Day.

Its  on Sunday Jan 29 10am-4pm .

There are over 100 varieties to choose from.

There are also talks on perfect potatoes,potato blight and cooking them

I'm not far away from Ryton, I was actually looking for something like this after a friend who lives in Hursley was telling me that they had a potato fair! Will have to go and take a look.  :D
Acquired a third of a plot in January 2011 which was extended to three quarters in December 2011. Managed by myself and my 6 year old son.

I LOVE Ryton Gardens - often take my reluctant 2 year old for a walk there! It's full of brilliant ideas. They also had an apple day last October, and managed to identify all three varieties in our garden, for free!

Gordale potato weekend starts today ,its on the wirral ,Chester high road and the guest speaker is medwyn  Williams ;-)

I'm off to my local Potato day in a few minutes.. Made my list last night and MUST stick to it... but plans may change   :D
Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... 2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..

Drove past Ryton about an hour ago and the sign deffinately says Sunday 29th Jan!?
