My family bought some lovely hens about a month ago. We found this forum really helpful to read when they kept on having mustardy droppings and so i've signed up! Have wormed them and now there's not such a problem with the droppings so thanks for the advice! :D

Eggs!?
When will the eggs arrive? The chickens are about 18 weeks - could they be affected by daylight shortening? Should we be giving them layers pellets?

Thanks!

they may well be waiting to start laying till the days lengthen . growers if you are feeding them for now then when they start to lay feed em layers if you want to , or a full seed and green diet ,
