Hmmm. So the OH cut down all the raspberries a while back to a few inches above ground ie) the summer AND the autumn ones. Clearly one lot will come back next year (I forget which gets cut down to ground and which simply gets trimmed). I assume there is no hope for the other variety?

The autumn ones can be cut down late in each year, as they fruit annually. The summer ones just need this year's fruited canes cut out, so I'm afraid you'll not get an early crop, but the autumn one will be fine!

At least, you'll know next year which is which - on our patch they're all over the place, and I've also lost the markers for each strain...

Yes, don't worry they will fruit in the early summer the following year ie 2013

The autumn ones will give you lots of fruit next year though
