I'm no expert but looking like a cockerel with the pointy feathers around the neck and the tail feathers look to be starting to develop more than a pullet.  Sure you will get loads of advice shortly.

I agree I would guess cockerel, neck feathers, good sturdy legs, large comb and possible tail feathers emerging. However I have never bred light sussex so it is just a guess.

I would lean towards a cock, the comb is bigger then my most recent pullets were at that age.  I’ve just looked at some pics to compare and its got a bigger comb and its tail feathers are much more pronounced.  

Might have to wait and see though, as if it is a cock it will show much more clearly in the next few weeks.

Just to throw a Spana in the works my first thought was pullet.

OH has just come in so I asked him. He said pullet without hesitation and walked off

I would say pullet too.  I have a sussex cross, and at 12 weeks old it was obvious- hackels and curling tail, and the BIG comb too!  Fingers crossed
