Plot re-clearance (with pics)
« on: October 17, 2011, 08:27 »
Hi all,

Well im acheing today as i re-cleared my plot on Saturday and it nearly killed me  :nowink:

I let it get out of control and to be honest i nearly gave it up.

My OH insisted that i go and clear it as i would never forgive myself if i did give it up so 4hrs of hard work and this is where im at.

I'll keep taking photo's of the renewed progres.

Andy

Well, that's some improvement I say  :D

Don't forget you'll ache more tomorrow than today, then it'll feel slightly better!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I'm impressed. :D :D

Glad to see you made the best of the last of the sunny weather, too  :nowink:

Yeh it took some doing but well worth it in the end.

Got next year to look forward too because of it.

Still plenty to do over the Winter though.

Im going to keep a diary on here with plenty of photo's.

Would it be possible to move the first post of this thread once i've started it.

If not I'll re post the pics back in there.

Thanks

Andy

I'm sure that will be possible - although it might have to be Aunty who does it.

It never ceases to amaze me how a garden can be kept tidy and productive for years on end and then you turn your back for a second and...WHOOSH...weeds jump up everywhere. You've done a brilliant job in only 4 hours, it's a daunting task to begin with, but so rewarding once it's finished. Very well done.

Glad to hear that you have decided to keep your allotment Stompy. Also good idea about keeping a dairy, I have had my present plot 5 years and have from day one written in my dairy what I have done each day that I have spent on the plot no matter how much or how little I have done for the day... :)
I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.
