Will these Yuki's recover
« on: September 19, 2011, 13:16 »
I tried some Yuki cabbage but the slugs got the outer leaves.

If I leave them in the ground with pellets around will they continue to grow to harvest or are they shot?

They currently look like this

Cheers

I don't think you quite need that many blue pellets of death.

I also only use mine under netting so that wild life can't eat the dead slugs.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

It should say under the usage instructions on the container.

Admittedly a different brand, but mine say scatter them to fall 6"-8" apart.

What one pellet 6 to 8 in apart?  Crikey I thought you had to almost create a barrier, lol.

I'll have enough til I retire now then and I'm not 40 yet  :D

I know with the organic type they reckon if they're too close together the bait effect isn't as strong and the slugs aren't attracted to the pellets...
