Will the potatoes recover?
« on: May 24, 2012, 22:05 »
When we had a surprise frost (at least it was a surprise to me) that left a few of my potatoes leaves a bit soggy looking. The next (predicted) frost I was all prepared. I covered them in more straw and most of the plants are growing well through this second layer of straw. Not so with the frosted ones. I lifted the straw and they are there but not looking that good at all. Will they recover or should I dig them up and use the space for something else?
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

I'd give them more time.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
