« on: July 21, 2011, 20:16 »
Hi Folks
can someone tell me if i plant some cabbage/cauliflower by august in pots do i over winter them in the greenhouse or can i plant them before winter and has anyone used armillatox to help with club root Thanks for the help :)
Give me a sense of humor, Lord,
Give me the grace to see a joke,
To get some humour out of life,
And pass it on to other folk.
Happy new year to you all xx

You can plant them out, as long as they are hardy varieties.
Re Armillatox: It is not licensed for use as a soil sterilant, so it's illegal to use it as one.

What you decide to do is up to you but it's use isn't discussed on the Forum.

Sow seed now. They'll be ready to plant out by the autumn.

Club root is not so much a problem with over winter brassicas, as it's dormant.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
