Can anyone tell me if i can lift my strawberry patch and plant into plant pots ready for over winter now or is it to early, as i want to rotavate the patch

I would first pot up some runners, but if you have already done this and you cannot rotovate near them I'd leave it as long as possible before disturbing them and ensure a large 'lump of soil' is removed with the plants.    Cheers,   Tony.
