potato soil
« on: July 03, 2011, 14:18 »
Can I reuse the soil I have just harvested my potatoes from. I grew them in a plastic sack.
I was thinking of spreading it around my veg patch rather than around the garden.

No reason why not, unless the spuds were diseased.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I emptied two of my sacks the other day and emptied the compost onto the raised beds where I know I won't be growing any potatoes or tomatoes (just in case)  :)
