Cucumber question
« on: June 26, 2011, 08:11 »
Its my first time and i have three nicely growing plants all flowering and growing small cucumbers so far.
my question is do i keep them to just the one stem as they seem to be shooting off other stems from the base.

thanks

I just let mine go as they want.

They're self-destructive enough without encouraging them!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Mine in the greenhouse have tiny tiny cucumbers that are thin at the stem indicating they are going to drop off before they mature. The leaves also seem to go brown at the ends and shriveled. I have to cut them off. Feeding with comfy and watering.
