Hi all iv been given a compost bin a few weeks ago i put all the usual composting material in and a sprinkle of garotta, once its all rotted down can i keep adding material to it or do i take the compost out and start the process again

I've been told to keep adding to the compost, and whenever needed, take the well rotted part from the bottom... if you bin has a hatch that allows this? Then just topping it up as you go on......
