Mine only had chick crumb until nearly 6 weeks. They are now 8 weeks and real beauties

The first thing our chicks get apart from their crumb is a little chickweed at 5 weeks, but if chicks are hatched by a broody, 'Mum' will take them outside after a couple of days and introduce them to grass and stuff.
