You have to pierce the bottom of the growbag?! Darnit, never knew this so will get to piercing cucumbers and tomatoes tonight. Maybe that's why they were upset!

I like to pierce them just a little way up the sides, so that all the water doesn't run straight through

Turns out hubby did pierce the bottom, it said on it to slit it but then everything would fall out! Gave it a few more prods with a fork though for good luck
