Any information on Welsummers personality's...
« on: May 19, 2011, 09:22 »
Hello all, I'm looking to add some welsummers to my existing crew of a LARGE red sussex, Barnavelder, Ranger and white sussex bantam, could anyone advise on there temprement i have heard mixed reports.
What im looking for is birds that like's to be handled and will be ok to mix with my other girls, i love my Barnavelder but she is the most nervous girl and i don't seem to have the same interaction with her as the others as the others love a cuddle and a stroke, she doesn't come near...
The only reason i ask about welsummers is i love the look of them there feathers and there shape and my supplier has some nearing being ready.
Would this be a good Choice???
I would be grateful for any imput, i really need to add more bantams as Gladys is the only one who is small but i can not seem to get a hold of any locally :(
Many thanks :)
